THE SECRET LOST PAPERS OF T.D. LINGO
In 1993 brain researcher T.D.A. Lingo died inside a hand built cabin that he had lived for 35 years, working as director of The Dormant Brain Research and Development Laboratory. The 250 acre property located at 10,000 feet elevation where he conducted decades of brain research and education eventually was given to his biological son. However, All of the intellectual property, educational writings, personal correspondence, essays, and research remained the property of Lingo's legal corporation, Adventure Trails School (and Dormant Brain Lab). Only myself and the vice-president of Lingo's corporation had retained complete original copies of all the material. From 1993 onward I continued my brain lab educational work by myself, previously in the manner that I had in close partnership with Lingo during the preceding decade. Thousands of pages of these documents have remained in my custody and care since 1993, nearly all of them yet unreleased and unpublished except to those few directly involved with the brain lab. For the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Dormant Brain Research and Development Laboratory (to occur in 2017), I have chosen to begin to release and publish online these papers to the general public. Since 1989 I have published my own summary books and online papers regarding Lingo's work, all of which can be found on my web site www.BrainRadar.com. The first of these books, The Frontal Lobes Supercharge, was written while Lingo was still alive in 1989. At that time he encouraged the publication of this book, as well as aided in the editing of this easy to understand volume on Brain Self-Control. It, and the many other books (such as Brain Magic, Tickle Your Amygdala, and Brain Tuning) that followed, adhere to the unique practices and techniques pioneered by Lingo at the brain lab, and yet have incorporated further information and methods that evolved over the next thirty years during own involvement in this field. For those wanting a detailed history of what it was like at Lingo's brain lab, I refer you to "Secret of The Dormant Brain Lab", my own personal history of Lingo and the brain lab. Many of Lingo's own writings may be at first difficult to understand, and much of his unique and colorful language may even raise many questions not often asked in medical and brain research circles. However, I believe a look at his life and his writings in great detail, afforded by access to this vast library of material, will provide an invaluable service to those wanting to known more about the human brain, as well as about Lingo's life, his philosophy, and his approach to making the best use of one's incredible thinking machine- the human brain. What is particularly interesting is Lingo's ability to predict the future, and many of his predictions about life on earth have come true decades later. Most importantly, certainly much, if not most of what he claimed about brain function and brain self-control has now been proven by independent scientific and medical researchers across the globe. This is especially true about amygdala function ("clicking" and "tickling the amygdala") and the ability for individuals to engage brain self-control in a focused manner and reap the many and varied benefits. The papers are presented at this time in no particular order, but merely as I retrieve them from the vaults. At some future date I may arrange the links in some semblance of organization. Otherwise, just read them, utilize, enjoy this work as found and published here in what may be some random yet "cosmically" found order of importance. There are at least hundreds of pages to come, and the list will grow each week as new papers are added to this web site. The papers are presented here exactly as Lingo printed and presented himself, typed on his manual typewriter, and then duplicated on his hand cranked mimeo copy machine. It is suggested that they be read on a normal large computer screen for ease of reading. -Neil Slade, September 2016
