The AMYGDALA BRAINBITES album is pure pop/rock "brain" music. These songs tickle your brain in a way that simply most commercial music does not. The original Amygdala Brainbites album (now a collectors item) had a drippy song called Love For Sale, which I just COULD NOT stomach any longer and which was replaced a couple of years ago with this far superior composition and spoof on materialism.
(Okay now, for those who need explaining- this song is SATIRE).....
MALL WALK is a musical jab at all those people you know who LIVE TO SHOP. These are folks who have yet to learn the superior fun of clicking the amygdala forward and directly experienced direct internal brain stimulation.
Yes, yes toys are nice, and we all have them and love them. But go to the MALL and laugh at all the poor folks who have not learned the difference between endless material addictiveness and internal creative production. Sure, we all SAY we know the difference... ;-)
Please note all the rather clever "double entendre" references.
The deliberate STYLE is in the cheesiest 1980's vintage synthesizer infused Michael Jackson drizzle- albeit, completely cool and funky counterpoint melodic double layers (unlike the rest of the album which is more classic rock style with genuine guitars). Please note the truly wild yet masterful virtuoso ORGAN solo midway (See above paragraph.) Thank you, thank you. All parts, N.S., late night in the recording studio.

Please note, the streaming file is merely conveniently compressed mono- the album CD is mind blowing high resolution stereophonic.
(And here are the lyrics:-)
I like to sit and watch the people as they walk on by- They’re looking through a window, Something new will catch their eye I go from store to store exchanging things, comparing prices I’m looking for the one who hands out GOLDEN CHANGE Take me shopping for a while Makes me happy when I spend Got to live my life in style Get me a new THING *** The fashion clerk and I examine products very closely Presenting arguments to strengthen her sales pitch… I hope when I get home to up this package I’ll find This beauty I have bought comes with a guarantee… Somewhere we can meet when the store closes and they lock the doors Take me with you pretty lady I’ve got lots in store…. Now, WALK IN THE MALL The stores they are calling Shopping all day It’s a GRAND WAY to spend your life: Check out merchandise I love to walk in the mall *** Exchanging items at the desk when it is necessary Picking up bargains in the basement when I can And when I’m broke I don’t stay home I still go window shopping I cannot stay away I’m such a loyal fan- Of the mall and of the clerk Behind the rows of lipstick where she works Perhaps when she gets off We’ll get a BITE to eat….. Now, WALK IN THE MALL The stores they are calling Shopping all day It’s a GRAND WAY to spend your life: Check out merchandise I love to walk in the mall [big ORGAN solo] Somewhere we can meet when the store closes and they lock the doors Take me with you pretty lady I’ve got lots in store…. Now, WALK IN THE MALL The stores they are calling Shopping all day It’s a GRAND WAY to spend your life: Check out merchandise I love to walk in the mall [repeat]

The AMAZING BRAIN ADVENTURE's MOST POPULAR PAGES:
Your Amazing Brain Adventure is a web site all about Tickling Your Amygdala- i.e. turning on the best part of your brain as easy as clicking on a light switch. This is done as easily as imagining a feather inside of your head stimulating a compass, the amygdala. The amygdala is a set of twin organs, a part of your brain that sits right in between the most advance part of your brain- the frontal lobes and pre-frontal cortex- and the most primitive part of your brain- your "reptile brain" and brain stem. By tickling your amygdala you instantly and directly increase creativity, intelligence, pleasure, and also make possible a spontaneous natural processes known as "paranormal abilities", although such things as telepathy and ESP are really as natural as breathing, or as easy doing simple math in your head. The ability to self stimulate the amygdala by something as simple as thought has been proven in laboratory experiments, such as those conducted at Harvard University research labs, 1999-2009, and can be tracked with modern brain scanning machines such as fMRI and PET... Indeed, thought is faster than light.
