"A good musician doesn't borrow ideas
from other musicians. He steals them."- Paul McCartney. (Honest,
he said that!) I stole this painting idea from the movie "The
Seven Samurai". This triple yin yang yon was the insignia on the
back of the robe of the hero in the story. Hollywood then stole
the story from this movie and turned it into "The Magnificent
Seven". Of course, Snow White and The Seven Dwarves came out
first before either of those. If you haven't seen The Seven
Samurai, write the title down right now on a piece of paper then
go to wherever you go to get video tapes and check it out! It is
a GREAT movie, one of the best ever.
Acrylic on paper, 9"x12"(1996)
