Out-of-Body Brain Travel Music:
The AMAZING Brain Adventure
Fred Poindexter and I (Neil) recently did a bit of Brain Travel- this is another name for what is commonly referred to as "remote viewing" or "astral travel". This is the ability to have your mind someplace your body isn't. When you are able to click your amygdala forward, it is an elementary thing to switch on the remote/astral travel components of your brain, which reside primarily in the frontal lobes. Both Eric and I have been doing this for decades, myself having learned this skill at the age of 18 from a master of meditation. Some legitimate research has shown that this can actually be done with accurate perception of objects and thoughts hidden and distant to the observer. Granted, this is not as dependable as cable TV and there are plenty of examples where this hasn't worked. But it's fun to try, helpful when you REALLY need it in a time of crisis, and sometimes you are right on the money. As professional musicians, we thought it would be a unique idea to do some of this
remote viewing in a place we could never physically (or very unlikely!) visit, and then
interpret our impressions with a representative sound/music sculpture. Naturally, a place
as inhospitable as one of the moons of Jupiter, Europa (center of photo below), a
far-below-freezing cold place covered with ice, would inspire the oddest, and most haunting kind of "music". (PLEASE NOTE: This music is NOTHING like the friendly melodies of any of the other brain music albums.) We found ourselves hearing
and re-creating sounds we were feeling on this barren place, millions of miles from home.
Just as in any other kind of music, our impressions and emotions while in our out-of-our-body experience leave and transmit the same impressions to the listener. Thus, this particular Out-Of Body Brain Travel Music will facilitate your own remote viewing and astral Brain Travel to this alien place. As you listen, having prepared the right environment for good Brain Travel, you will very likely experience the same sensations and sights that we ourselves did.
INSTRUCTIONS: Do this at night- the later the better.
Brain Travel is most easily done when the immediate environment, both physical and psychic is quiet and undisturbed. This means, little or no traffic noise, TV, and certainly no little kids running around the house. Perfect quiet is ideal. (However, when you are practiced at Brain Travel, however, you'll find you can even do it on the city bus if necessary.)
Use good headphones for the best results. Cheap computer speakers will not do at all and the effect will be GREATLY reduced, if not altogether eliminated. Really good computer speakers may work, but again, not as good as phones which will also filter out any minor noise that will distract from the experience. It is important to hear all the nuances and frequencies of the recording. Your out-of-body Brain Travel experience facilitated by the sound/music input will be only as high quality as the care you take to get things right.
Adjust the volume level on your computer after the first minute so it is loud but not disturbingly loud. Some good volume is necessary. Then START IT FROM THE BEGINNING, turning off even the computer monitor screen. You want it dark so the only stimulation to your brain comes from your ears and from the lights inside your frontal lobes.
The selection is 6 minutes long. There is some very unusual sound at the end, so wait till it's quiet for a long while so you know its over.

The AMAZING BRAIN ADVENTURE's MOST POPULAR PAGES:
Your Amazing Brain Adventure is a web site all about Tickling Your Amygdala- i.e. turning on the best part of your brain as easy as clicking on a light switch. This is done as easily as imagining a feather inside of your head stimulating a compass, the amygdala. The amygdala is a set of twin organs, a part of your brain that sits right in between the most advance part of your brain- the frontal lobes and pre-frontal cortex- and the most primitive part of your brain- your "reptile brain" and brain stem. By tickling your amygdala you instantly and directly increase creativity, intelligence, pleasure, and also make possible a spontaneous natural processes known as "paranormal abilities", although such things as telepathy and ESP are really as natural as breathing, or as easy doing simple math in your head. The ability to self stimulate the amygdala by something as simple as thought has been proven in laboratory experiments, such as those conducted at Harvard University research labs, 1999-2009, and can be tracked with modern brain scanning machines such as fMRI and PET... Indeed, thought is faster than light.
